Recognising the importance of yoga for the health and fitness of mankind, Sree Sabari School took the initiative of spreading the word among its students through an informative and practical basis. The teachers as well as the management including the Principal, Head mistress and the trustee members impressed the students with their energy and enthusiasm to actively participate in the initiative.
The students, all lined up in perfect order, commenced the morning with gentle stretches before starting with the warm ups and moved into deeper poses in accordance with the system of hatha yoga. They went on to practice breathing exercises as well as chants showcasing the versatility of yoga for the wellness of body as well as mind. They ended the session with cooling down poses and settled into savasana.

The Goodness of Yoga
The effect could immediately be seen among the students as their eyes had brightened up and their body language indicated that they were ready to learn.
Yoga in different forms has also been inculcated in the regular morning routine of the students as well as the teachers of Sree Sabari School keeping them fresh and active each day.
